On December 31, 2020, Shanghai Hongji Metal Products Co., Ltd (herein after “Shanghai Hongji”)announced that the company has completed the acquisition of the auto parts business of Changhong（昶宏）Company.

After the acquisition, Changhong's auto parts business will be integrated into Hongji Metal for sales, operation and management, and will belong to Shanghai Hongji Metal Products Co., Ltd.

Changhong's auto parts business factory is located at No. 250, Nanfeng Road, Fengcheng Town, Fengxian District, Shanghai. It has specialized in the stamping industry for more than 20 years, and has rich experience, technology and unique production technology in stamping, deep draw and forming of various metal and non-metal materials. Changhong has obtained more than 20 patents in recent years and has acquired the title of Shanghai High-tech Enterprise.

With several production lines and dozens of assembly lines, Changhong has an annual production capacity of more than 5 million sets of stator or housing. It is a professional component manufacturing company in the automotive starter and alternator industry. It mainly provides stamping parts such as automobile starter housing, stator assembly, brush holder assembly, generator fan and other stamping parts to well-known auto parts companies in the industries such as Valeo, BorgWarner, and Huayu Electric.
